Five questions about the health of people in work, answered for every place in Yorkshire and the Humber.
Public statistics describe residents, or people who have already left work. Almost nothing describes the health of the 2.7 million people still in work. This page shows what is published today, and what the Living Better at Work data trust would add.

Who is about to fall out of work because of ill health?
Who is asking: Mayors (the 80% employment ambition and Get Britain Working plans), NHS areas (keeping people in work is now a health outcome), and councils (local employment support).

About this demonstration
Every figure in the “With the trust” view is made up for this demonstration. It comes from a simulated alliance of 52 employers (4 public sector, the rest private and voluntary, matching the region’s mix of industries) and about 100,000 employees across all 15 councils. It was built with the same questionnaire, scoring and costing used in each employer’s own report, so it behaves like real data. It does not describe any real employer, place or person. Employees’ home postcodes and the deprivation of their neighbourhoods are simulated; the postcode district shapes on the map are real.
To protect individuals, no figure is shown where fewer than 10 people answered, and no employer is ever shown on its own. Results are adjusted so each council counts in proportion to the number of people who work there. Figures in the “Today” view are real and linked to their sources.
